Wish List

So i was told by klo to write a wish list for christmas and althought all i would like this christmas is for all of my friends and family to be healthy and safe, here are a few things that santa might bring: 1. i got the season 1, 2 and 4 of Gilmore Girls so i am missing 3, 5 and 6. but be aware these are expensive unless u find a great deal like i did ($19.99 each!!!!) 2. Evanisense (?) Cd. 3. Gwen Cd 4. i just got a pink raisor, so i need a case for it. 5. a cute little charm for my raisor will be nice too. 6. i want an ipod to but im going to daddy for that one!!! haha 7. like vivi any type of fashion book or makeover book. or rather how to dress like a cool teacher book (my students think i am way to old) as i think of other things i will post them.

Thanksgiving!!!! Yea!!!

I LOVE Thanksgiving and Christmas!!! Love it! i am super excited for the long, needed rest and large amounts of fool to be consummed. I want turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, rice, pumkin pie, everything!!!! Things are really cold down here. It is so cold that i have two sweaters and a coat on today. I had to call a parent today and the student was pissed...so was the mother..oh well! my students are angry because i am giving my 3rd period class a party tomorrow and none of the other classes get one. So i told them, only my good periods get a party and 3rd period is my best period. not much to say but i can see things in El colegio are going down. Oh! i am going to start my masters, i have an orientation tomorrow. Let see how it all goes!

Lockdown

You all know that iwork with middle school kids. And the fact that it has been crazy hard is not of any type of secret to anyone. If you didn't know i work in a title one school which in my own words (and everyone else) plain and simple means i work in the getto. Yes people the getto! i work across the street from the jail and the students sometimes act as if they just walked out of that certain jail. But you know, you get used to it and you develop a certain concern and care for your students.. they are not all bad. and the ones that are, are only acting the only way they know, survival of the fittest people. Well, yesterday i was slapped in the face with the reality, once again, of where i work. We had a lockdown yesterday. for those of you who don't know what that is, well you need to watch Degrassi and get into what kids are into now a days. HA! thats one fucked up school, you should see it some time. Anyways, lockdown happens when something in the community has happened and we have to lock our doors and no one can move. WEll the thing is that five guys from the jail had escaped and the police where all over our neighborhood, with guns i might add, looking for them. So we were stuck with the students until almost 5 pm (schools out at 3:50). It was a crazy day and a crazy event.

You Always Remember Your Frist Time

You always remember your first time. You remember your friest time with someone, your first pony ride, your first kiss, even your first trip out of state or even your first time out of the country. So remembering the first time you got a marrage proposal is a must. Well the interesting thing about this is, i got a marrage proposal yesterday. Yes people, i got asked to get married. And it was on my voice mail. What every way you put it, how romantic is that? Not much, right? Oh well, it was really interesting. But why would i get married? it is not even an option. i have to much to do and to much to see. and anyways, why am i even going on with this, i'm not even with anyone. But you all can not tell me that my first time being asked to get married has to be remembered. When i do have kids i can tell them "well when i was asked to be married the first time it was throu my voice mail!" Yea Me! not!

Mini Vacation

So i went away for the weekend, for thoses of you who had no idea. yes, i had enough and i went with a couple of friends to the Coronado springs resort at Disney. It was awsome!!! We stayed there and only paid $100 each. This entitled us to 2 nights, 3 days, and 2 snacks, 2 lunches, 2 dinners! lets just say that our $100 wentt the first night! the people at the hotel were great and even though it was quiet cold at some points of the day but we did go to the pool and i did get rather burn. I would so totally do it again. I went for walks in the morning ang in the nights. We had super dinners and a great time at EPCOT. Well more later, my class is coming in for a fun filled day of learning.
