Thank you!

I just want to say a special thank you to all of those who sent your wishes for my birthday and for christmas. It truly is a blessing to have you all in my life and i hold you very dear in my heart. It is so great to realize just how loved and cared for you are. My students have showered me with gifts, hugs, cards and "best wishes Miss" and for me, this is what makes me get up every morning and come to work. When a child tells you, "thank you miss for teaching me all i need to know, i would never have learned it if it was not for you", well that makes it all worth wild.
I truly hope this new year brings you many blessings and that if you had a rough year, this one will come and open your eyes and let you understand why these things happened. Things happen for a reason, people and things change, although sometimes we don't like it, we need to understand it. If it weren't for change everything would be boring and we would never learn new things. I embrass the changes in my life because I know that something has to be learned.
Well I leave you with this...May of us are not even close to each other, distance is a great change but also impediment but its not impossible to keep the lines of communication alive. Lets try to make it our new year resolution to keep in touch, call each other more often, write a simple e-mail, comment on a blog, write in snail mail, send a text, anything. I am guilty as charged in this matter because I have let my jobs and school get a better of me but I am going to promise my boobies that I will try to make it better this coming year and keep in touch in more ways then one.
